"There are sufficient numbers of both small and large animals in our province, and I strongly urge our citizens not to believe the speculations ahead of the Sacrifice Festival," he said. "Our citizens can safely purchase their sacrificial animals from the animal markets set up by our municipalities or from fattening farms. I particularly ask them to be cautious and avoid purchasing animals that do not have identification tags. Animals without a Veterinary Health Report, those that are very weak, pregnant or have recently given birth, those with high fever, dull appearance, excessive salivation, or missing limbs should not be bought. As for slaughter, they should prefer slaughterhouses and plants with licenses from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry or temporary slaughter sites and fattening farms designated by our municipalities.
