Recep Bağlamış

He was born in 1979 in the Develi district of Kayseri. After completing his primary and secondary education, he continued his high school education at Kayseri High School. After finishing high school, he pursued his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Business Administration at Anadolu University.

Bağlamış Ülbağ began his professional career at his family business, where he served as the General Manager of Bağlamış Ülbağ Meat Company, achieving success in a short period. In 2003, he founded Gözde Meat Company and assumed the role of Chairman of the Board. In 2011, he served as the General Manager of Pir Meat and Meat Products Company, and in the same year, he acquired the Şalvarlı brand, taking on the role of Chairman of the Board.

In 2009, Bağlamış Ülbağ was elected as the Chairman of the Assembly of Kayseri Commodity Exchange and served two terms in this position until 2018. In April 2018, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Kayseri Commodity Exchange and continues to hold this position. Furthermore, in the same year, during the elections at the 74th General Assembly of TOBB, he became the first Chairman in the history of Kayseri Commodity Exchange to be elected to the Commodity Exchanges Council. In addition, on April 12, 2023, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of the Kayseri Kocasinan Agricultural Specialized (Geothermal Source) Organized Industrial Zone, which is the first geothermal greenhouse established in Kayseri, and he still serves in this role. He has also held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board at Anadolu Product Market Intermediary Institution (Anadolu ÜPAK).

Recep Bağlamış is married and a father of three children.

In addition to his professional career, Bağlamış has held various positions in leading civil society organizations.
