Smart Agriculture Applications Project

In our project, which has been approved for support by the Regional Development Agency and will soon begin, the Smart Agriculture Unit to be established in our Provincial Directorate will process satellite images to create maps that will be available for use in a mobile application. This will allow our farmers to remotely monitor their crops, identify problem areas in their fields, and immediately consult with an advisory engineer. They will also be able to apply variable fertilizer and pesticide rates and track the development of their products.
