About Kayseri Commodity Exchange Laboratory

Our laboratory, which was reactivated in 2018 under the Kayseri Commodity Exchange, continues to operate with an expert team in food and soil analysis, approved by the Ministry. In 2023, we expanded our scope by obtaining authorization for irrigation water analysis and started working in this field.

In our food laboratory, physical and chemical analyses are carried out to determine the economic value or specific characteristics of wheat flour, bread, cereals, and cereal products. The quality parameters obtained from the analyses conducted by our Food Engineers in our Ministry-approved laboratory ensure that the production, storage, transportation, and marketing of these products are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and hygienically.

In our soil laboratory, basic efficiency analyses are performed to provide fertilizer recommendations for farmers in order to achieve the desired yield and quality in plant production. These analyses, carried out by Agricultural Engineers, help identify the soil structure and the macroelements it contains. Based on these results, fertilizer recommendations are made according to the crop pattern the farmer intends to plant. This helps prevent incorrect fertilizer usage and ensures that high-quality products are obtained through informed farming practices.

In our water analysis laboratory, we conduct irrigation water analyses to properly manage soil structure and obtain the correct products. Our analyses continue in this area with the aim of managing the soil in an accurate and controlled manner.
