Meat and Meat Products R&D Center
As the Kayseri Commodity Exchange, we have established a research and development station in our city that all companies operating in the meat and meat products sector can benefit from. As the first and only R&D laboratory in Central Anatolia focused on meat and meat products, we have started our work with our expert team and next-generation technological devices.
Through this, companies can have physical, chemical, microbiological, and sensory analyses, which play an important role in quality control of meat and meat products, conducted in our laboratory. Additionally, they will have access to training and consultancy opportunities in research and development, which is considered a fundamental need for both the production and consumption sectors, and they will be able to carry out product trials, including analysis and tasting stages.
In addition to analyses such as protein determination, fat determination, moisture content, ash content analysis, color determination, nitrite residue detection, texture analysis, species identification analysis, pH analysis, ash analysis, salt analysis, fenugreek content, starch content, and water activity, foreign species identification analysis and comprehensive microbiological analyses will also be conducted. Sensory analyses, which are the most important step in new product development, are carried out by trained panelists.
